I took a pottery class, what fun!
I learned how to make pots, one by one
I rolled out the clay, and gave it a spin
Then shaped it and smoothed it, and let it begin
To take form as a vase, or a mug, or a bun!
Pottery classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Limited to eight people in the studio at any time. The charge is £20 per session or £90 for a block of six weeks. Firing is charged as an extra and charged per item according to size: the bisque firing covers the clay used and glaze firing the glazes used.
Friday pottery starts at 10am and finishes about 4pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday pottery starts at 10am, Tuesdays finishes at 8pm and Wednesdays at 5pm and can be attended for any four hour period within those times eg: Start at 10am and finish at 2pm or start at 1pm and finish at 5pm.
It is advisable to bring some lunch with you if you need it. Tea and coffee is freely available throughout the day.

Tuesdays: 2nd January, 20th February, 2nd April Fridays: 23rd February, 5th April
You can join at any time but will be charged the daily rate
until the start of the next block date.
